Southernmost
Hockey Club Scholarship
For
many years, the Southernmost
Hockey Club awarded a $500
scholarship
to a graduating senior
at Key West High School.
The
scholarship was raised to $750
in 2003.
In 2004
the Key West High School
Roller Hockey Club
added
$250 to bring the scholarship
to $1000.
The award is made at graduation on Class Night in May.
In 2007 the Board decided to award two players with $500 each.
The winners in 2007 were A.J. Ceberio and Bryan Silva.

the applicant must have
a
cumulative grade point average
of 3.25 or an SAT score of 950 or higher.

applicant must have participated
in the Southernmost Hockey Club as a hockey player.
An
essay is also required.

board of directors voted in
November 2004 to make it mandatory for youth inline hockey players in
Key
West to wear hip pads or padded hockey pants.
Referees
and Scorekeepers
Any qualified referee
who is
interested in refereeing
should

Anyone
interested in becoming a
referee or scorekeeper should click

and Coaches

the hockey program.
