Southernmost Hockey Club Scholarship
For many years, the Southernmost Hockey Club awarded a $500
scholarship to a graduating senior at Key West High School.
The scholarship was raised to $750 in 2003.
In 2004 the Key West High School Roller Hockey Club
added $250 to bring the scholarship to $1000.
The award is made at graduation on Class Night in May.
In 2007 the Board decided to award two players with $500 each.
IThe winners in 2008 were Sean Hemphill and Spencer Curry. Each were awarded $1,000.

To be elgible for this scholarship, the applicant must have
a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or an SAT score of 950 or higher.
The applicant must have participated in the Southernmost Hockey Club as a hockey player.
An essay is also required.
